Andy Bagnall

Andrew J. Bagnall currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and began this position on March 15, 2010. In this role, he is responsible for the overall performance of the 185 bed acute care community hospital, including delivery of quality care, clinical outcomes, and financial performance. Bagnall has also strengthened relationships with current physicians and recruiting new physicians to the community. Under Bagnall’s leadership, St. Nicholas Hospital added a new Cardiac Catheterization Lab in July 2010. The addition of this new service allows patients to receive diagnostic heart care close to home. Bagnall also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sheboygan Safe Harbor Domestic Abuse Shelter and the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation.

Bagnall has 12 years of experience working in healthcare. Prior to working at St. Nicholas Hospital, Bagnall served as Chief Executive Officer at Select Specialty Hospital, a 50 bed long term acute care hospital in Davenport, Iowa. Bagnall also served with Grinnell Regional Medical Center of Grinnell, Iowa for nine years. He first served as the administrator of Deer Creek Health Center, a joint venture between Grinnell Regional Medical Center and the University of Iowa Health Care, and then was later named Director of Physician Services and then Vice President, responsible for physician services and a number of outpatient services.

Bagnall earned his Masters in Health Administration from St. Ambrose University, in Davenport Iowa, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has served as a board member of the Iowa Medical Group Management Association and a member of several committees for the Iowa Hospital Association.

Bagnall and his wife Lael have three children—a son and two daughters—and reside in Howards Grove, Wisconsin.
