Sebastian Schmidt

Sebastian Schmidt was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany and has been happily married to wife Leonore for 22 years. They have three children, two girls and a boy. Sebastian has four pillars in his life: Faith, Family, Work and Community. He is interested in politics and has been in Sheboygan County since 1987. Sebastian has a German degree in International Sales.

From 1987 to 1995, Sebastian worked in sales at Will Pemco, and from 1995 to 2011, he was President and COO at Kurtz USA. In 2011, Sebastian founded MODIX Corp. which is located in the offices of Jakes Café. MODIX Corp. is an integrator and domestic manufacturer of blow molding equipment and are technical consultants to EPS/EPP industry. MODIX Corp also sells refurbished equipment, parts, and composite equipment for the aerospace industry. Sebastian believes in equipment designed in Germany and proudly made right here in Sheboygan County. Sebastian sees a need to grow the export business in America.
