Career Connections

Organized by the Sheboygan County Chamber and sponsored by regional educational institutions, the event places Sheboygan County sophomores into classroom settings to hear what life is like for professionals working in career fields the students have an interest in. More than 100 professionals sacrifice time away from their offices to answer students’ questions and to share the educational and experiential paths taken to achieve their present positions. Career representatives include a judge, county administrator, police and fire representatives, attorneys, physicians and a multitude of others representing sixteen career “clusters.” More than 1,500 students every year benefit from Career Connections.

Students attend from Cedar Grove High School, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School, Howard’s Grove High School, Kohler High School, Oostburg High School, Plymouth High School, Random Lake High School, Sheboygan Christian High School, Sheboygan Falls High School, Sheboygan Lutheran High School, Sheboygan North High School, Sheboygan Riverview High School, Sheboygan South High School, Sheboygan STRIVE, and Warriner High School in Sheboygan.
