2005 Workforce Development Goals
- Clarify and coordinate relationships, internally with other Chamber committees and externally with LABEC Partnership, E4E, School-to-Work and like organizations, so that missions and responsibilities are defined, efforts not duplicated and efficient cohesion attained.
- Investigate, develop and recommend a resource that provides information to business and education for the enhancement of a productive, sustainable workforce.
- Identify future occupational trends for Sheboygan County and develop strategies to prepare the available workforce to match those trends.
- Increase diversity participation within the committee.
- Promote Sheboygan County Leadership Institute under the direction of the Workforce Development Coordinator and the Leadership Curriculum Committee, to ensure a successful program.
