Wear your Chamber membership proudly as you forward this link or hand them a ticket (available at the Chamber) to these free information sessions. You will be doing them a big favor! Based on a recent national study conducted by the Schapiro Group Chamber membership is valuable way beyond the many direct benefits you receive. This broad-based consumer study uncovered the following findings:

Consumers look at Chamber membership as an indication that your business uses good practices and that you are reputable.

If you are involved in the chamber, consumers are 12% more likely to think your products & services are better than your competitors.

As one example, when consumers know that a restaurant is a member of the chamber they are 40% more likely to eat there in the next few months. For a large restaurant franchise that number climbs to 50%.

When consumers know that a small business is a member of the chamber they are 44% more likely to think favorably of it and 63% more likely to purchase goods or services from it in the future.

In the Midwest, the impacts of Chamber membership are significant:

28% increase in favorability

55% increase in consumer awareness

53% increase in local reputation

49% increase in likelihood of future patronage
