Electrical Safety
Are your mechanics and operators qualified to do the electrical work they’re doing?

Speaker: Kelly Bubolz, Compliance Assistance Specialist, OSHA

There are many hazards that our employees are exposed to every day. Some are easily controlled and some are not. Electricity is one of those hazards that can be easily dealt with but only when employees are expert in its use and control.

• Do you know for sure if your mechanics and machine operators are properly trained to identify electrical hazards?
• Do they know what tasks they are allowed to do and which ones they are not?
• Are they truly "qualified" to do the work we ask of them?

To help answer those questions, a trainer from the Appleton, WI district OSHA office will enlighten you on what training and information is required to be known by these employees. Kelly Bubolz has been a Compliance Assistance Specialist with the Appleton office for 12 years and served as a Compliance Officer for another 10 years prior to that.

See what it takes to make sure your employees are truly being safe around electricity.
